The Cayucos Landing

A cherished community gem: restored and ready for your special event!

The Cayucos Landing, formerly known as the Cayucos Veteran’s Hall or Cass Warehouse, has long stood as a centerpiece of Cayucos History. Built in 1873 by Captain James Cass, founder of Cayucos, the building has served as a hub for local commerce, social gatherings, and celebrations – hosting everything from dances and weddings to community meetings and events.

After 143 years of service, the building was deemed structurally unsound and closed in 2016. Thanks to a collaborative effort between California State Parks, San Luis Obispo County Parks, and generous community donors, this historic landmark has undergone a full restoration. Construction is nearly complete, and the building is set to reopen fully revitalized and more beautiful than ever.

Cayucos Landing will offer a grand hall for up to 200 people, a commercial kitchen, smaller meeting space, and an outdoor BBQ area—all with stunning ocean views.

Cayucos Landing is expected to open for reservations in August of 2025.  We are not yet accepting reservations, but if you would like to be among the first to receive booking and permit information, please join our Cayucos Landing Interest List, by completing this form linked here. You’ll receive an email announcement as soon as reservations open.

We look forward to welcoming you to The Cayucos Landing—where history, community, and celebration meet the coast.
