Heilmann Regional Park
Heilmann Regional Park is a sprawling 102-acre rustic park that is quickly becoming one of the most visionary and unique parks in the County. Visitors are learning more than ever that SLO County Parks is dedicated to providing unique recreational opportunities for both local residents and tourists alike. Park amenities include disc golf, three group day-use areas (two with shaded structures overhead), two children’s play areas, sand volleyball, horseshoes, five lighted tennis courts/four lighted pickleball courts and an expansive turf area for sporting games or just good old-fashioned horseplay. Visitors can also enjoy Chalk Mountain Golf Course, just a two minute walk from the day-use picnic areas.
