Seasonal/Temporary Positions

Golf Aide:  $15.50 – $18.84

Golf Aides can be assigned to either Morro Bay, Dairy Creek or Chalk Mountain Golf Courses. Incumbents perform a wide variety of unskilled, semi-skilled and skilled duties in the operation, and maintenance of golf courses, open space areas, landscaped areas, buildings, and other related work as required.

Park Aide: $15.50 – $18.84

Park Aides can be assigned to any of the County run recreation areas. Incumbents perform a wide variety of unskilled, semi-skilled and skilled duties in the operation, and maintenance of county parks, beaches, lakes, buildings and other recreational areas.

Lifeguard I/II/III:  $16.50 – $22.49

This is a Seasonal/Temporary Employment beginning in May and ending in September. We are looking for committed individuals to work 20 – 35 hours per week at any of the following aquatic locations: Hardie Pool (Cayucos), Shamel Pool (Cambria), Santa Margarita Lake Pool, Templeton Pool, San Miguel Pool, C.W. Clarke (Shandon) Pool, and Cayucos Beach.
