<<Back to Events Calendar

SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA – Join us at the SLO Botanical Garden to spend a relaxing evening learning the basics of macramé on Thursday, April 9 from 6 PM to 8 PM. Lindsey Altman of Tied & True Goods, a macramé artist based on the central coast, will teach this intimate workshop. You will master the basic knots and make your very own macramé plant hanger using natural cotton rope. All materials are provided, as well as a white pot to fit inside your new creation. Bring a friend along & enjoy a night of knotting! Class is appropriate for ages 12 and up.

Workshop is $55 for Garden members / $65 for non-members. Pre-registration required.

Lindsey Altman lives on the central coast. She graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 2015, married her high school sweetheart and loves spending time outdoors, baking gluten-free/dairy-free treats, & having deep conversations. She discovered macramé in 2017, and it’s become her creative outlet– she could knot for hours.
